RSTRI Custom Metal 3D-Printed Aero Riser
A custom metal 3D-printed cockpit support for triathlon and time trial bikes, designed for substantial stack and forward reach offsets and complex integrated geometry. Built around the rider’s fit data and target position, with dimensions and compatibility subject to engineering assessment.

When standard spacers are not enough
Conventional aerobar risers use predefined spacer dimensions to adjust height. When a fit requires substantial additional stack together with a forward reach offset, standard components may not place the cockpit supports at the target position. RSTRI starts with the rider’s fit measurements, mounting interfaces and desired geometry to design a dedicated support structure.
More freedom for complex integrated geometry
CNC machining is shaped by tool access, fixturing and machining paths. Combining large forward offsets with complex transitions, spatial changes and localized reinforcement can make a single-piece structure difficult or costly to machine efficiently. Metal additive manufacturing offers additional geometric freedom, allowing the design to follow mounting interfaces and load paths. This is an advantage for certain complex shapes, rather than a claim that CNC cannot produce large parts.
Large offsets demand structural engineering
Additional stack and forward reach change the bending moments and cantilever loads at the mounting interface. The design addresses cross-sections, load paths, localized reinforcement and critical connections, and structural strength has been validated. Every custom configuration still requires an assessment of its dimensions, interfaces and intended use; achievable offsets are determined through that engineering review.
Key features
Substantial stack and reach customization; complex integrated metal 3D-printed geometry; structural design for cantilever loads; validated structural strength; bike-specific cockpit interfaces.
Customization and compatibility
This is not a universal spacer. Please provide the bike model and year, original cockpit configuration, target stack and reach changes, and relevant fit measurements. Final dimensions, geometry and compatibility are subject to technical assessment. Each riser is manufactured as a fixed structure to the approved geometry, without continuous stack or reach adjustment after installation.
